The assessment process

Our assessment process starts with a free 30-minute intial consultation over the telephone. One of our team of experts will have a conversation with you about your child/young person during the call.

What’s the assessment process?

1. Initial telephone consultation

At the end of the free initial consultation we will advise of the best next steps. If this involves a diagnostic assessment you will be able to book this either at our clinic in Pinner, North London or Centennial Medical Care in Elstree, Hertfordshire. You can book your assessment slot online, where we will also ask for payment. If you interested in a payment plan to spread the cost of the assessment please let us know at the consultation.

2. Assessment and feedback

We will meet you for a face-to-face session at our centre in Pinner, North London or at Centennial Medical Centre in Elstree. Two clinicians will be available to spend time with both parents/caregivers and the child/young person.

Our experts will meet after the face-to-face session to discuss their findings. We aim to have a feedback session with you on the same day, or within one weeks’ time, to share the outcome of the assessment.

3. Report

We’ll follow up the session with a full report. These are generally available within three weeks, depending on the complexity of the assesment.
