Free initial consultation
The free initial consultation will be conducted over the phone by a member of our autism and ADHD assessment team who will have a conversation with you about your child/young person.
What happens at the initial consultation?
We are aiming to get an overview of your child or young person’s needs during the call. We welcome both parents or caregivers to take part.
During the call we will ask for some information about your child’s medical history, education, and home life.
Should we confirm that an assessment is suitable, you will be able to book an appointment online, where payment will be taken to confirm the booking.
After your initial consultation, should we feel an assessment is recommended, we aim to see you face-to-face within six to eight weeks.
What happens if we don’t need an assessment?
There are a number of reasons why an assessment may not be suitable. For example, a medical referral may be recommended before we can start our assessment to rule out concerns for example, hearing loss or we might suggest you first seek a referral to a treating therapist for intervention. We may also suggest that you keep in touch with your GP or health visitor to monitor any changes
